True-blue Boracaynon, son of the island. This is the pride!
Hey Aklan! Our province is majestic. Wish you are served well, your majesty. Your government armies have issues in protecting your excellent status in the eyes of the tourists who supply the livelihood for your people. I am one of your armies who recently decided to join the force given the opportunity by the pandemic, to serve you. I believe I have given my best even if I was only provided with a batuta against the machine guns of your army in position (this is the frustrating part). My big heart for excellence is contained in a small space because decision makers are found in the big offices.
I want you to be proud of what I do in the quest for excellence. Excellence is the only way how to sell our province to the tourism market who provides food in all Aklanon's dining table. I cry for excellence that some of your key designated people don't have the heart to deliver. I have maximized the power of my P500/day to ask commitment and cooperation from your army leaders using not my public office's designation as it carries no authority, but the charm, my only armor; that life had taught me to influence people. Some government partner witches however can not be charmed - that's my fall.
Your QR delay incident that happened on January 24th with 30 people missing flights including a doctor friend of Secretary Puyat is written in the history of your province's failure. Leading the 24/7 Boracay Tourist Information - before the incident occurred, I have presented concerns and suggestions how to improve after seeing the pattern or trend of a failing system. What I get was a lousy response in an upfront arrogance. How could QRs be available in "an hour before the flight" if your army leader is sane. Sarcastic commitment shit. If I build my own country, arrogance will be punishable by tokhang.
Now, the Philippine Red Cross announced a breakthrough, a big opportunity to settle the difficult part that every Boracay tourist has to go through to comply with the RT-PCR requirement: the pain in the nose, and the pain in the pocket. But what now? Your army leaders cannot give a prompt response if whether it is acceptable for Boracay tourists or not even Senator Gordon of PRC already announced its 98.23% accuracy with a declaration that it could be used for travels all over the Philippines special mentioning Boracay, Siargao, and Palawan. Help me wake your government armies up in authority. The people are waiting, the tourists are waiting, we at the 24/7 Boracay Tourist Information are waiting. Where is the sense of urgency which is the main ingredient of excellence? Saan Aklan?
Your Validating Team can only prove and claim appreciation if the 24/7 Boracay Tourist Information Hotline don't get anymore calls for QR follow ups - only then when the proud trainor from APICTO could get a thumbs up. Why don't this Validating Office (are they even valid?) provide a number where tourist can directly call for their concerns? Why the 24/7 Boracay Tourist Information center absorbs all the bombardment of questions and blames which the validation office deserved? Covering own asses seem to be the greatest asset.
We need answers and action. Not just answers and action, but answers and actions in a timely manner.
At some point, will park my office table but my cause will continue to battle. Take me, my heart for Boracay excellence is available.
